Single subject intervention involves children working one-on-one in a subject for one hour three to five days per week.
Reading -
Letter sounds and names, phonics, phonemic awareness, sight-words, oral reading, comprehension, spelling and vocabulary. Math - Basic numeration, computation, fractions, decimals, ratios, percents, algebra, and problem solving. |
Relational Language -
Skills in early language relations, perspective taking, critical thinking, problem solving, are targeted for children to build advanced comprehension of language in written and spoken forms. Writing - Grammar, sentence structure, paragraph construction, brainstorming, organizing written information, and genre writing are developed with children who have completed the Relational Language curriculum. |
